Probably not a new question, but one worth re-visiting. Given the choice between 6XC and 6mm Creedmoor, which would you choose and why? I appreciate there is little to seperate these calibres - case capacity is similar while the 6mm CM achieves slightly higher muzzle velocities - but for me the main consideration, at least for me, is rifle availability. The 6XC has been around for more than a decade and while popular among competition shooters, Lapua doesn't make brass for it and it's nigh on impossible to find factory loads. In contrast, the 6mm CM is yet to be adopted by European rifle manufactuers, such as Blaser, Sako and Tikka.
