Wanted: A Jack of all trades, looking for a project.

I’m not looking for employment exactly as I’m already gainfully employed by my own two businesses and I’m not short of work, but I am stuck in a bit of a rut and looking for a challenge.

I can be available for a few days or a few weeks given enough notice and I’m happy to travel anywhere if I could be of help to someone with an interesting project.
I don’t mind working for less than my usual day rate if it is doing something interesting but I do have a mortgage to pay.

I’ve been stalking for 20+ years, DSC2 for 11 years, ADM, EFAW+F, deer dog.
Experience setting up a game/butchery/curing business from scratch.
Manufacturing food hygiene as well as basic hygiene certs.

I have assisted with culling on an unpaid basis in England and Scotland.
Practical skills in metal, wood, masonry, heating, cooling, vehicles, electrics, controls, general tech, stock fencing etc etc.
I’ve built chillers and set up off grid monitoring, data, cctv.

46 years old and physically fit. Being balls deep in peaty water trying to drag a red out makes me happy.

Many years ago I cooked for a living up to two star standard in the pre-tweezer era. I’m pretty good at recipe development and my charcuterie has won national awards.

I have access to expertise on government grants and environmental schemes via my wife if you are looking for funding to get something up and running.

My day job competencies include gas, lpg, fluorinated refrigerants, domestic electrics, kerosene.

Please drop me a message if I can be of assistance.

An interesting project is a very wide open brief!

I'm thinking - come and build us a larder in Perthshire for board, lodgings and stalking?!:lol: That's if they don't get the grant for a Community Larder down the road.

Maybe contact the estates advertising for seasonal ghillies on here as for 'a few weeks' they will have their peak from end of Sept to 20th Oct and might need an extra pair of hands then?

If I wasn't married, middle aged, mortgaged and settled I'd be all over this offer. Thanks anyway.

The sprat to catch a mackerel is not tempting enough...you might have to add a free 6.5 cm in the package

Then you aren't the guy I'm looking for. I need someone who can get stuff done, and this workshop uses SAUMs (and a .54 flintlock)

On the other hand, we don't have race riots, a Labour government and Wales next door. Come on down, the weather is fine.
I am not the one laying out my stall I did offer the OP tea and gloves also a free hanger. Hell he might have picked up a few tricks...

Come on man, pull those nads out of the dirty peat water and go work with Rafter for a couple of weeks. This is undoubtedly the most interesting offer you are going to get. Rafter said he’s paying good money and what an item to add to your resume. I think you should seriously reconsider.

Yeah. What he said.
Come in our spring though. I need someone to help with the carrying from tops hunting.

😁😁😁 Even if I could avoid the divorce courts here, the Kiwis wouldn't give me a work visa. Also my welding is agricultural grade, not fabricator grade..

Are you sure? We're overrun with Phillipino welders, so someone is getting visas.

I've always had apprentices, and my belief is that given enough bananas I could teach a monkey to weld - what I need from them is a good attitude.

As for divorce - in my experience it is expensive, but worth it. Try other options first though.
