A nothing head but worth doing.

Just finished doing a munty skull.
Its no head at all but the taken by a friend on the first outing with one of his lads. Just nice to do it as a momento on the wall so that one day a grandson or daughter can hear the story.


Time goes too fast.

It actually looks very nice.
While we’re on the subject, how do you get them THIS nice, lean and white please? I’ve been thinking of doing one or two, and actually tried.. I just boiled it for hours in water, ’then I loose the teeth and it’s still not good looking.

Followed lots of utubes and posts on here.

My method
Soak head in cold water overnight
Skin
Boil for 3/4 hours with dishwasher tab
Pressure wash ( being careful to retrieve the nose bones when inevitably you blast them off)
Soak again in clean water.
Wrap in kitchen towel soaked in hydrogen peroxide ( avoiding antlers) leave for at least 12 hours.
Unwrap, rinse leave to dry in sun.
Super glue the bits knock off / out in the process.

I enjoy it , wife thinks I am odd.

Didnt mention I reuse the peroxide soaked paper several times. it becomes a bit like peroxide papier mache paste.

I simmer for maybe two hours pick and scrape and honestly let the peroxide do its job, I probably tip the water out 3-6 times during those two hours... helps a crud ton tbh!

Obviously this is not a munty- last munty head is not with me at present. I would only boil any head for 35 mins max.

Skin it off first, boil it- jet wash it , that pour. Peroxide on it whilst it is still wet.

They come up quite white.
