Appreciate the reply Moose, I'll get on it. I figured with the way things are going (or have already gone, frankly), any 'record' of training or collection of paperwork has to help doesn't it

I'd pay for this if I knew I'd get an open Cert first time round, I'd consider that a bargain to not have to chase them constantly or be unable to use my own gun when visiting places - If the Met ever get back to me I'll ask if they would recognise it

(Also thinking of the worst case scenario and something bad happens being able to prove you undertook training is always going to be in your favour)

I have two friends who have both been given open certificates at first grant by the Met. Both were able to show that they had been on stalks they’d paid for already & had bookings for other stalks in the future.
