most expensive desserts in the world
(Image: Alistair Ferrier/PA/Dailymail UK)
Price: USD 34,500

This lavish dessert was created by culinary master Chef Marc Guibert at Lindeth Howe Country House Hotel in Windermere, Cumbria, aiming to set the world record for the most expensive chocolate pudding. Chef Guibert’s creation, which is embellished as a Fabergé egg replica with a few luxurious decorations, is a monument to his culinary expertise. This regal dessert is a symphony of flavours, comprising four of Belgium’s most beautiful chocolates laced with orange, whisky, and peach hints. The luxurious combination is boosted further with champagne caviar, edible 24-carat gold flakes, and the centrepiece — a two-carat diamond.

Moved to deer desert, the Nz government has a shoot on sight policy on invasive species.

Is that regional? ie nearer towns there are less deer as more hunters go out and get them. I assume in the wilder south island there are plenty of hard to reach places with plenty of deer still?

Someone once told me that canals were the main reason deer weren’t more widespread in Cheshire. Now idea how true it is but made sense (as they can’t cross a them / get out the sides).

From a “Deer Desert” How many two minutes from your bedroom slippers do you think Deer are in Cheshire?, struggling with geography Tim? Some people “Work” for their deer son.
Sorry for the late reply Steve, had a text "seen another fallow in the ride, shoot day tomorrow"

.....that's all very well and good, but it's no Colin the Caterpillar is it?

You are obviously reading the wrong script, apparently we are completely overrun with deer, they are destroying everything and must all be culled. Says the government.

I am, when a deer was spotted nearby (some 10 years ago) it made the local news! The irony being my local village is named after the hunting forest (deer park) that it bounded!

We have a canal runs through the middle of the farm I live on, I regularly see the same deer on opposite side of the canal, they use the bridges rather than swim.

Very few deer around here in the south of Leics. See the odd muntjac. I've never see any other species, seen roe slots and heard anecdotal tales of fallow, but...
