Just a wee thank you to Mark @snake_2586, I was looking for a spacer to extend my recoil pad on a Sauer 404, the LOP on the rifle was just a wee bit short for me.
I removed the pad and contacted a couple of local businesses to see if they could help me out, too busy and how many do you want were the replies, so searched online to purchase a thicker pad for the rifle.
I struggled to find a stockist for one, so I contacted Mark and asked him if he could help in any way.
Yes, was the answer if I can, a few messages and some photographs were sent, and the recoil pad was removed and posted to him.
Reply, it's here
, what do you need for the spacer? A few more messages and some photographs from Mark and its printing
I think I posted it on Saturday so it probably didn't get picked up till Monday and it was back with me on the Friday morning.
I've purchased a couple of things from Mark, knife sheaths, ammo pouches, and now the spacer, and his work is first class.
I was going away on holiday for a few days and never had the chance to get it fitted, so home on Thursday, the new spacer and pad are now on the rifle, just need the pi$$ing rain to stop and let me get out for a shot.
Cheers once again Mark
All the best.
Martin.
