Abie Duploy passes away

Just heard that another old Pro hunter has passed away. Abie Duploy who was a PH in Zambia. I met him a couple of times whilst in the States, through an agent I had at the time , who was also an agent for him. At the time Abie, and I believe his brother ran a safari company called Luanga Crocodile. I didnt know Abi well, but heard a lot about him and his brother through various sources, and met him at an SCI show in Las Vegas, where we conversed about hunting and the big game collection I was responsible for at the time.

I've made a point of reading about him following your post. I never knew him, of course, but he certainly sounds like he was quite a bloke. Condolences

I never hunted with him whilst in Africa. But he was a colourful character, from some of the stories I heard.
