Admin response to locked out members

Do admin get notification when we email regarding log in issues? I was recently locked out as I forgot my password and had an old email address registered on here so could not easily re set it, I had no response from any admin when I emailed nearly 2 weeks ago now. Obviously I managed to find my old password and I am now logged back in but it would be nice if admin could at least respond to such issues.
 
On email, if we get no way of identifying people, we tend to leave it because these days we get so many scammers trying to take over accounts. You could register a new account and if we are satisfied your old account is yours we can merge it.
