The biggest issue is the importer, Highland Outdoors
They do not appear to have anyone who understands the products they represent
I went to an Infiray thermal demo evening at Auchterhouse clay ground a couple of years ago and was not able to look through more than a handful of the Infiray thermal products that were on display because rep from highland outdoors didn't bring enough batteries with him - and had no means of charging them
Also, the Infiray products are very hit and miss.
The RL42 thermal scope was, when it first came out, an excellent product for the money. at around £2600
It's big brother the RH50 sold for over £4k and was an utter dog of a scope
The reports I hear from some buyers of the TD70L are that the image was so bad, they sent them back
Finally, Ian Blackwood, owner of Blackwood Outdoors field tests far more NV and thermal kit than anyone else in the UK and is a fair and honest judge of the kit he tests.
If it's good, he'll say it;s good and and if it's bad he'll say it's bad
Of the 4 big online sellers of NV and thermal kit (Scott Country, Sportsman Gun Centre, Optics Warehouse and Blackwood Outdoors). Blackwood Outdoors are the only one that does NOT sell Infiray products - there might just be a good reason for that
Cheers
