I currently use a couple of 6.5’s in the mighty creedmoor (stop laughing at the back! )
For my stalking rifle I use Lapua brass, and so I could differentiate between the two, for my target brass I used Starline, it’s served me will and has been pretty faultless. I decided recently to upgrade a little so bought some Alpha brass for the target loads…on running my Arc expander die/mandrel through them (.262”) I noticed they feel a little rough when doing so, and also when seating the bullets (ELD-M’s)….i chamfered inside and outside on the ones I loaded…still the same, it just has a roughness to it….anyone seen this with Alpha brass? Could it just be due to it being new and maybe a little rough in the neck ID? I’d be a bit disappointed if that’s the case! Supposed to be ultra premium brass!
