Alternative to fish n chips

I looked it up... I quote
rarely seen outside France and have a strong, distinctive odour coming from the colon.

Filthy. Bastãrds.
ive had it in paris, suprisingly nice. the next day was awful, the smell was unlike anything i could describe.
id probably have it again

If the WEF get their way, we’ll all be eating insects for breakfast, lunch and dinner ! YOU WILL EAT THE BUGS !

Ate worms doing escape and evasion course, dig em up pop into a plastic bag for 8-10 hours whilst all the soil passes the other, great with eggs if you have them 🥳

i wont eat any fish caught by commercials from uk waters. the damage they have done to fish stocks is criminal. some shell fish is fairly well managed. i also avoid farmed fish like the plague.
now chip shops fry most chips in palm oiland restict how dark the chip gets they have naff all flavour

I had andouillette in France (look it up if you don’t know) misunderstanding what it was sounded like some delicious belly pork.

We were eating outside. My wife genuinely looked around to see if a horse had pulled up and had a dump next to us when I cut into it. It really was not my thing!
I did exactly the same thing, in Dijon if I recall correctly. In the menu I saw something that had a fancy little guild logo next to it and thought "that must be good". Absolutely disgusting. Lathered it in mustard and still didn't managed to finish it. Their boudin noir on the other hand....

Farmed fish are an ecological catastrophe - wherever in the World they are farmed.
Shame on anyone who buys/eats it.
Deep shame - and I am looking at you Salmon eaters especially.
"Organic farmed Salmon"??
Yes it is there on the supermarket shelves.
Are they taking the ****?

Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy Fish and Chips when I’m over, but I’d bet dollars to donuts that a lot of your “fish” is actually a shark species (spiny dogfish). They catch them in massive quantities on the North Carolina coast and nearly 100% is shipped to the UK or EU countries. Endangered on your side of the Atlantic but almost a plague on our side.
