the last lot i bought from litts were 25 quid

I went to the local shop to pick up a box of A-Max Match (6.5/140) for a friend the other day and they were $35/100. When the dealer saw I wasn't buying he cut the price to his cost which was $21 a box. I took them for my friend's sake but later got thinking: a 75% markup??? Then I got mad  .~Muir

bullets price

200 ,222 winchester soft points for £ 95 00 at kibworth shooting ground on friday still have some left if any one interested . If had all 400 they would have been £8 a box may go back next week with my lad and get the rest at that money .

Try moving to north Scotland....powder cases and bullets not only in short supply but also expensive.

Bulk buying has paid off though as I can reload (6.5x55) for between £12.5 and £18.60 per box and that takes into account the cost of all
reloading kit

Round £/box (20)

Nosler 100 18.60
Nosler 120 18.40
Hornady 129 SP 13.00
Hornady 129 SST 14.70
Sierra Gameking 140 12.50
Hornady 140 SP 12.92
Hornady 140 SST 15.30

The last bullets I brought were the other week when I picked up a box of Speer 120 grain .25 cal for the 25-06 and then cosr £28.48 he had one more box which I phoned and asked him to hold for me. Prices have shot up in recent months

2.5% for increase in VAT.

1 % for increase in National Insurance on staff wages.

Mark these up 50% if you are working as a sustainable business...

Ahhh unless your an RFD you cannot have expanding bullets delivered by post of carrier as they're too dangerous don't ya know  You can buy as amny Match bullets as you like or can afford but not expanding ones. Don't forget that expanding ones also count against your ammunition quota even as componants! Thanks to our stupid guidelines and rules we won't get into the Police ideas on it

paid £26 for a box of 100 Vmax .224 50gr but they are only $23.44 on hornadys website we are definately being ripped..... :( im sure that theres got to be a cheaper way of getting them........ :???: any ideas :???: it will soon be cheaper to go get them yourself.... :???:

Nighthunter,

Strip out the VAT and you have actually paid US$ 35 to purchase them from a retailer.

This is only a 52% markup which isn't bad.

The retailer will have bought from the importer so two businesses having to earn money to pay their employee wages.
