Anatom Rannoch Boots

As per the title, has anyone tried these boots?

Anatom Rannoch Extreme

Look pretty good and the blurb is promising but always like to see what people in the real world think. They say there has been a lot of testing done but no one i know up here or out west knows of anyone who has had them as yet.

Have Meindl Taigas at the moment and they are great other than the fact that the lack of decent rubber rand means that they aren't going to last. Going to go back to Glockners probably when the grouse comes around again but seen these and might give them a punt instead.

Worth a question anyway

Thanks

Dan

Had a pair since November, used on mountains with lots of wet ground and deep snow.
My feet have remained dry and warm, the boots are comfy with good ankle support, although not as stiff as Glockners wich i am also using.
Would I buy another pair ? Yes.

Thanks MW3

Good comparison, being as they are pretty similar money which of the 2 would you go for when replacing a set?

Thanks

Dan

The Glockners are four years old so if I was to replace a pair today, it would be the Glockners.
If I couldn't get the Glockners I would go for the Anatoms, I think the Anatoms are better than my Dovre Extemes and Lowas.
Hope this helps.

So far so good.
If there is any blood left on the boots after the larder work I just hose it off.
If you let the blood dry there are cleaners available from the likes of Nikwax.
I might give them a good clean at the end of the Hinds, but so far not necessary.
