^ Seconded.AMP.
It's stupid expensive but it is a piece of science that just does it to perfection.
If you're on a budget then I second the Ugly Annealer. Much better than the British version. The Ugly annealer is very good for the price, possibly one of the best in the low budget range.
Been salt bath annealing for a while now and it seems to give me pretty good and also pretty consistent results. Can be a bit scary though !Just about to start salt bath annealing.
Don't even need that. Just use an appropriately sized socket from a socket set..I use the case holder from a Lee case trimmer kit in a cordless drill and a blow torch
Yeah, totally agree, 500deg oxidising salts.Been salt bath annealing for a while now and it seems to give me pretty good and also pretty consistent results. Can be a bit scary though !
Order direct from Derraco I believe. I bought a comparator set from them and it arrived no different than buying from a U.K. supplier (maybe took a few more days).Who sells the Ugly Annealer in the UK? Any idea of price?
The thought of that going wrong was enough for me to rule it out, an AMP would be my first choice, however can get more use out of my limited income.Been salt bath annealing for a while now and it seems to give me pretty good and also pretty consistent results. Can be a bit scary though !
