Well done AGAIN' You were guided well' and shot the stag, who bled and gralloched the beast? The client is not expected to do that part'. You look pleased in the photo and so you should be,again good on you!

I did suggest that she ought to turn up for work an hour late, slightly tipsy, and expect someone else to carry all her kit for the day, but apparently they weren't taking the role-play to quite those extremes!

That's a shame, and an opportunity missed I feel.

@Mouse could also have left the bolt back at the lodge, only taken one bullet with her ("I have only paid to shoot one deer"), fitted her rifle with a self-collapsing bipod, and insisted on taking a yellow labrador with her "that is perfectly fine with deer".

For the full effect she could have replicated the actions of one of the party at our lodge, who announced the departure of the stalking party by playing the bagpipes......accompanied by the sight of each and every deer rapidly clearing the glen. The stalker was not amused

In retrospect, I think they got the role-playing about right.
