Just wondering if any of you come across any antique Chestnut furniture. I’m talking about items made in the 1700s and 1800 from America. It’s said that the Chestnut trees in the Eastern part of the US were so big that people made houses out of the stumps and actually lived in them quite comfortably. Many an Oak tree ended up In the UK as well.
