Any taxidermists in Scotland?

Hi all,

Ive not got anything to taxidermy at the moment but more for future reference. I also have never put anything away for taxidermy so would need to know where to make the cuts etc for this.

Who would you recommend to use in Scotland if I did need something taxidermed? Im based in Aberdeenshire.

If you want a shoulder mount, I'd make sure you start skinning from behind the shoulder blades, separate the head at the atlas joint and give the lot to the taxidermist. Better to give him too much to work with, rather than too little. Bleed through the diaphragm as well.

I am going back a while but there was a guy lived up the back of Ballinluig services. I used to drop heads in for him to sort on my way home. Hopefully someone will come up with his details.
