The Yam was a nice ride, like riding in an armchair. Loud as anything as the pipes were basically scaffold tubes. The old drag queen looks well modified. Lol. My missus sold her 1,000 about 2 years ago as she just can’t ride anymore. Still trying to decide if we fix up her old TR1, that is the granddaddy to yours, or whether to sell it as a project.
currently I’m just finishing a week in Wales on my Varadero.
anyone in Presteigne tonight fancy a pint?
Home tomorrow for abuse and complaints about the house being clean and tidy when I wasn’t there.
Not surprised by issues with riding sports bikes for longer periods, that why I went with the Duke.I have ridden bikes for almost 50 years and just thr other week had to get rid of the Suzuki in my profile pic as I physically could no longer ride it for any length of time.
The other I have are very comfortable and can be ridden all day. Except the wee Piaggio whose 50ccs will struggle with me on it!
My uncle loves classics, he has 4 or 5 Nortons in his garage and a BMW 1000r, maybe I should ask him to take a Norton out, Ive never ridden an old bike.1968 Triumph and 1986 Honda cb350 . Plenty large enough for me
