Good job we did not have to do a gralloch with them knives on our DSC1 course .
Think that guy opposite me on the course the lorry driver who sharpened those knives.

He did point to those horses in the field and said he'd seen some deer

A one armed blind man could do better with a paving slab as a hone.

Whenever Lady Longstrider and I go away I always take my hones. Originally for my own knives, but increasingly to fettle up the shabby bits of metal I find in the kitchens of most places we stay.
