I have some. It’s pretty good. Tend to go for the slightly more ‘civvy’ styled items. T-shirts etc can be a little ‘athletic’ in the fit so if wine, whisky and pizza have featured heavily in your lifestyle up to now then you may want to go a size up! Also have a look at Kuiu. I held off for a long time but I’m now a big fan. Only really buy items when they are on sale.

The civvy stuff is quite nice.

I should be okay with the fit.

I was looking more at there camo/greens for stalking. I di like the stoney creek stuff though also

I have woodsman/pilgrim trousers and jackets. Very robust, comfortable and practical. Excellent value. Not waterproof but dries very fast and the fabric mix can be a bit sweaty in warm weather.

Vietnam, Poland it’s all the same products, the company I work for talks to a lot of company’s making clothing, when you are in the trade, you realise it’s all about marketing not the product.
Would I buy a product because its appeared in a movie or in a video game?
There you have a reply from a grumpy old man, using ex us military equipment.

I've a stoney creek stalker/sika smock I'm selling, great bit of kit but just a tad big for me now... it's a size large (upto 44inch chest).. its not waterproof bit it does stop a slight shower,. £95 posted..

I've not tried helikon gear but some stuff looks pretty good, it's supposed to be an alternative to issued military kit and for folk into airsoft, so should be durable.

l have quite a bit of Helikon kit, and I’ve always found it to be sturdy, well-designed and reasonably priced.

Two big thumbs up from me.

I use their woodsman smock which I applied Diver Daves to it, its lightweight, windproof and somewhat water resistant. I use it for 60% of the year and I am yet to rip it or wear through the elbows. It is well thought out with pockets, full side zips, the fabric is fairly quiet against spruce and I think it is generally a good garment overall. The only negative for me is the lack of length at the rear, I would prefer a longer tail to sit on like the Hoggs smock but this is nitpicking as I only really use it in finer weather. I'll likely buy another this year in orange or yellow colour for the summer stalking and I would 100% buy other garments made by this brand based on my experience with this smock.

Their kit is well designed and made. Their Pilgrim trousers are excellent - I wear them daily - and not too 'BDU'. The polo shirts wear well - and the Gunfighter softshell a great thing - lots of useful pockets, not too heavy.

I wont be wearing ex military kit. Im in military kit for work every day and its shite and im sick of wearing it 8-5 haha. I do know what you mean about it being all the same and just marketing etc

There is no doubt the quality of equipment has down graded, hunters element is very popular here.
