Appropriate surnames.

My long departed Dad told me he went to school with a lad named Arthur Brick

As they were both from east end of London, Arthur pronounce his name “arfer”

The teachers delighted in enquiring where the other half was
 
My MIL’s work used to compile employee e-mail addresses from the surname for a certain number of letters then the first letter of your first name, there was a guy called Greg Grimshaw,

When his was sent to him he ended up with the e-mail address grimshag@xxxx.com and always complained and was made fun of!
 
many moons ago as a med student I found humour in some funny names, to try to remember a few:

Dr Death - an anesthetist
Dr Angel - also an anesthetist

clearly you wouldn't want to meet one then the other in that order!

but my favourite was a speech therapist called "Stammer"
 
Been noticing lots of surnames on the news & other progs, matching the subject in play, this morning's, a marine biologist, surname Rudd.
Anyone else noticed other instances?
With out wanting to be too pernickety…. being a fresh water fish, the Rudd technically is not linked to marine biology at all. 😬
 
I went to school with a lad called Robin Dick. His jotters were often stolen and returned with "Th" put in front of his first name.
