Hi guys, just after people's experiences with these not so much with noise reduction as im sure theyll do that just fine, more with build quality and longevity. Im sure those that have them rate them, but has anyone had any issues and if so what?
Many thanks

That'll be 2 in the no camp then. I've read and heard things that dont shine a good light on them, but wondered if they had improved any

Just got back from my RFD with my replacement Wildcat. Had to return my Stalon after 55 shots as it wasn't fixable by Stalon. A variation was needed to replace it with a Stalon under warrantee so got a wildcat instead as didn't want a repeat and lost confidence in Stalon.

55 shots!! I presume you weren't on full auto😆

Mine was new in November so not old, looked after and only 55 shots, not worth the potential of a variation in my opinion.
Big thanks to Devon and Cornwall firearms for getting my variation through quickly.

Posted pics on here a while ago, gas burning, corrosion and damage inside, Stalon were quite vague or didn't know why. Also said it may have taken a battering or a fall!!!!!.
Odd as no external damage!!!!!
I have jetz, wildcat and atec and never a problem before. I think my Stalon was softer metal than my others. It worked fine but only 55 provable factory rounds is taking the ****.

I have a Stalon w110 on my swede. I've had it for over 8 years from new and put several hundred rounds through it, no problems at all, sound reduction is good.

Hmmm. Had one for nearly two years - used on .222, 6.5 and .308 including many high volume range days.
Found it to be a great bit of kit though on range days they do get a tad hot…

Had one on my .260 Rem since February.

Only put 60ish rounds through it & all happy so far (initial zeroing, load dev & then all at live game so no long shot strings). Good sound reduction & light.

It’s too early for a comprehensive opinion but so far I’m happy.

I have put well over 1000 .270 rounds through mine in all weathers and it is still going strong. No issues apart from the bush which which is made of carbon steel and can leave orange staining on the barrel threads. Quick wipe and a bit of high temp grease on the moderator bush sorts that out.

Although...... The last moderator I bought was an Atec. Lighter, cheaper and better looking.
