Given the current thread on reared duck shooting, which is bringing out more divisive views within our already at threat fieldports community, I was wondering...
I see on other forums places which appear to require additional security. Would it not be an idea to have some similar function where we could take our damaging internal bickering out of the public eye ?

Technically it could be seen as safer but it in reality it might not be... what happens if ‘users’ post even more divisive views if they think their safe? And what is ‘safe’? Either we have to have it so locked down (i.e. someone has to meet them, take copies of their fac etc) or... it might be registration only... or it might be somewhere in between?.... who meets them? What if we get an ‘Anti’ that pretends to be normal just so he/she can get in and copy what’s been said?...

It’s a tricky path to lead...

Fair points, well noted.
I find it disappointing that so many cannot see the pitfalls of airing our internal divisions in public, some terrible self righteousness on display. It was just a thought.
