Attaching Pulsar Forward DFA75 to scope?

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Puksar Forward DFA75 with a DN42 attachment.
I tried to attach the adapter to my scope (normally 44mm but 49mm externally) using a 50mm ring (I have others too) and I was not able to make it fit.

I didn't want to force it neither, is this normal? Any advice?

50mm is the thinner one. I was thinking that, tape or 3d printing a thinner ring.

I have a DFA75 and thought wrapping the objective bell with aluminium foil would slowly build up the thickness plus it will not compress and lose grip as leccy tape does on my Pard007.
