What qualification does the forrestry commision want for use of a quad ?is it lantra or nptc?

I got the LANTRA award and it is fine for FC....not sure about nptc

NPTC as of April 2014 however they are asking for it now

For new FC leases in the Highlands this year they are specifying NPTC - LANTRA is not enough - Pity as it adds to the price of training a lot!!
A case of jobs for the boys IMHO.
The training organizations are slowly catching up - but I'm struggling to hold my breath for long enough waiting!

Hi mate . . .I can confirm from Forestry Manager that you will need NPTC . . .as per above Lantra is no longer sufficient.

Call Dick Bradshaw, he does NPTC training. We do a lot of work for FCS and they definately want NPTC.
