Auto rotate in Android

The app version auto rotates screen, even when auto rotate on the Android device (phone) is switched off.
Hardly life threatening, but is there a way to stop this happening?

Just to let you know
Nothing to do with rotate , but since the new bill was passed , android will allow the government to see everything on your phone and where you go/have been/ who with/ what you did etc

Plus scan all your pictures and texts to see if you talk about anything that might allow them to take your guns

I found a two inch nail driven through the upper left quadrant of the screen followed by buying an iPhone worked for me.

Sorry. We have sidetracked like most posts. Don't have the app but there may be option in settings to stop it autorotate.
