B***** Wellies....options

Hello, Aigle wellingtons have a 2 year warranty ??, Where did you buy ? Reciept ?
They are 2 months within warranty, but the seller has said it looks like a rip (it isn't) or perishing caused by neglect. It is due to the rubber having perished although the boots have been kept clean and have been treated with Aigle spray.

Hello, Looks like the Seller is trying it on ??, What about the importer ? Have you contacted them, ? , They are not cheap to buy and the shop should honour the warranty, I have some Parcours and so far alls good

I've tried a few but keep going back to Aigles.
For cost, comfort and durability I think they're best in the field. Scuse the pun.

Walking the dog every morning and every night in all weathers etc. Skellerup are hard to beat. Had fancy ones and muck boots etc. not going back

Must have been unlucky, my last pair of skellerups the sole split after about a year. Pair before that lasted about 5 years of rough shooting and dog walking then the sole wore flat so was too slippery to use. Got agile now but did find the skellerup more comfortable. Muck boots were alright other than the sole wearing fast, but might try the vibram ones next. I don’t drag my feet either.

There will always be mixed opinions and bad experiences, but my chameau vierznord have been worn regularly for over 15 years, mostly on soft ground/grass so the soles are still have plenty grip.
Like everything, newer products don't seem to last as long.

My Aigles have just developed a small split after 22 months; they've been used but not abused, but my request for a replacement pair has fallen on deaf ears.
I've tried many different makes, but none seem to last as long as they once did, and it's as though they have a design life of 2 years max.
I'll continue to use the Aigles for dog walking, but it might be time to buy a pair of proper lace up boots for stalking and game shooting in the hope they last longer. What are the best options under £200?
gateway wellies , there not much about the now better. imo

Having been through several pairs of wellies from Le Chameau, Aigle and a few others am trying these Gateway1 Woodland Walker so far so good extremely comfortable and good for walking.
