Battery Chainsaw

Don't recall the model of the Stihl that I have but it's been brilliant.
Used it to cut several roofs on and various carpentry jobs as well as trimming trees.
Got a great deal with saw, extra battery and spare chains, I'll try to find the details, and have been really impressed. Batteries last way longer than I expected.
Still have a petrol saw but rarely do anything big so the battery one is ideal.

Will see if I can find the details of where I got it but there are lots of good deals out there.

Sthil AL chargers are difficult to get hold of at the moment. I have just bought a strimmer and had to get the charger from HIS in Inverness (by the inter web) as all the big names didn’t have any.

Plus 1 for Makita but haven’t tried another.
Best bit of kit I’ve bought for years makes chainsawing a pleasure. Well nearly!
I bought an extra set of batteries so easily 1 hour of charge.
Used every weekend.

Have had 2 Makita battery saws, one 36v and the other 18v for 4ish years and both very handy bits of kit.
Light, quiet and wee jobs like clearing whins are much easier compared to firing up the petrol Husky.
