Best IR torch for Pard NV019

I’m not jumping into thermal yet as I’m waiting for one with a range finder and 640 sensor to go on the market for less than a grand.

as I’m inbfor a long wait I’m wanting to upgrade the ir torch to use with my Pard NV019.

i currently use a wardy Blacksun ruby led IR but the dark engine laser IR that I use with my pard 007 gives a better picture.

apart from buying another dark engine, can anyone think of a more suitable ir source for the nv019?

I used to use this one with Pard 019. When on flood it will fill a lot more of field of view than bigger illuminators like Solaris srx.
And it is not expensive.

Pard 019 is probably the best digital nv monocular, but it can not compare to an entry level thermal. Something like Axion XM30f, or hikmicro lynx l15 is significantly better in spoting live animals.
And you might get very old, while waiting for new 640 thermal with lrf for less than a grand.
