Best mincer/sauasge maker

We bought a Trespade from Deer Central. Not cheap, but deals with everything we put through it, and really pleased with it. The stainless steel version is easier to clean than the base model which is cast. Be wary of cheaper ones - they are more hassle than they are worth.

ive got an upright and a horizontal sausage stuffer. no branding on either of them. upright is a better design, the pressure is straight down, horizontal one pressure make it flex and leak.
buy two decent bits of kit not one that does neither well

I got mine from Weschenfelder too, both tre spade I think. Would agree with most said above. Avoid all in ones and get the best you can afford. Stainless is better as you can dishwasher it. Higher throughput mincers are a revelation

Trespade Inox is a great machine, no cast bits to go rusty and mincers anything I’ve put through it.

Bought a cheap one first and it was a nightmare, not powerful enough.

Buffalo cd400 I have , it's brilliant.
The only thing that holds it up is the speed of the meat loader (me)
I can do 5 roe with it in the time that I could do 1 with the el cheapo that I had before it
Expensive but bloody solid and will last for a long time .. the motor doesn't get hot atall ..again unlike the cheapo

Cant comment on sausage machine..

Tre spade for both for us. Electric mincer and a manual hand crank sausage maker which helps with control of stuffing the cases.

Best with separate bits of kit.

Weshinfelder no.8 or 12 are great mincers then use a separate stuffer. Vevor do stuffers almost identical too but much cheaper Weshinfelder. I use a 3lt vertical one.

Is you try to use an "all in one" mincer/stuffer you will find in impossible to control the stuffing rate

Yes take this ^^^ bought a cheap one to begin with, frustrating and useless, bought Italian Spade model from Weschenfelder 6 years on still going strong, all stainless easy to disassemble and clean bought it at the Game Fare never regretted it

Buy a second hand kenwood chef and a mincer attachment.
I’ve been really pleased with mine, the older Kenwood chefs have quite big motors compared to newer kitchen aids - a friend of mine burnt his household kitchen aid out.
You get a proper machine with quality internals rather than a cheap purpose built mincer.
Wondering if there’s any mincers out there for around £100 that would be worth looking into?
