Best night vision digital scope

Hi there
What digital scope would produce the best picture at night?
I appreciate that some of them are only as good as the ir you pair it with.
From what I can see online the pulsar c50 gets a good rep for pure night time image.
Not really interested in all the other bits ie ballistic calculation ect
Purely night time image.

Hello, Are you looking at Thermal or a normal night vision scope, or Day/Night scope , These days most have a very good picture quality, What are you shooting,Deer/ Rabbits/ Rats/ Fox , What distance ??

Since putting a Drone 10x back on my 204, none of my Aplex scopes have left the cab. Do want to see the D70R and a Pard 4k 2.0 see how they are.

If you ain't arsed by all the bells Drone pro 10x still the best image at night.

Drone 10/15 for a large clear image, source a extended battery pack would be the best option.
Using a Hik as I enjoy the video option, but I still have the D10 I brought of camo 304 9 years ago.

I think the DNT zulus v2 is hard to beat for an all round product, for price, image, compactness, in built everything....

Certainly better than the alpex and digex c50 I had.

Zulus v2 is no where as near as good as the aplex 4k at night......I love my Zulus v2 but its not as good as the Alpex 4k I had, the full fat version not the lite

Can't fault my Alpex 4k compared to the Pard 008 lrf I had,possibly the biggest waste of money I've ever done for shooting optics.
Use the Aplex on the rim fire & AA s510XS no issues & the ballistics work a treat.

Agree with this. I had a C50 and move to a Zulus V2 miles better in terms to picture quality, built in IR. weight ( about 1/3rd of the C50) plus benefits from Ballistic calculator ane range finder.

If the image as good as the Alpex - no idea, is the image good enough - absolutely!

If the image as good as the Alpex - no idea, is the image good enough - absolutely!

The other thing I found with both my digex and alpex and it will be the same with any external mounted IR, is that it definitely affects the centre of gravity and balance of the scope, especially when on sticks because you've got something weighing however much, another 4 inches higher than the scope...not to mention just a bit cumbersome generally, as it sticks out so much.
