Thanks for responding. I thought about getting thermal binos for scanning but, as I scan and drive, it’s easier to do with a monocular. Can you recommend a high spec thermal monocular that would make a significant difference to scanning for foxes at night, including at range, and in challenging conditions? Ideally, I need to be able to ID them from further away so I can approach without alerting them. With my current monocular, I find I am IDing them more by how they move, which is tricky when they are sat still or laying up, and they are moving because of me rather than some other reason.
