The main problem with BFG's in the wet is people tend to run them at the wrong pressures. They are an LT tyre so for load carrying. most users have them inflated to do so when not loaded. Air them correctly and they are still one of the best tyres you can run. For Doris to run to and from tesco with Fido in the back you only need around 28PSi (265/70r17)
