Binocular holders for quad

I currently keep my bins secured to my quad rack with a bungee. There must be a better way though. Anyone have any suggestions? 🤔

Just hang them around your neck using the strap provided.
Nope. They get in the way as I'm on and off the bike a lot. I need them with me, but I don't need them getting in my way. I don't use the bike when I'm stalking, and I have a harness for them.

I thought that when I started stalking, so I began taking my binoculars everywhere with me, every day, no matter what I was doing. Very quickly became so used to them being around my neck that they never got in my way.

I should clarify this isn't for stalking. I'm out and about on the quad a fair bit, and use the bins ad hoc for various purposes. At the moment they sit on the rear rack, but as I say it's not ideal 🤔

My quad isn’t used for stalking, I use it for work, (gamekeeper) do roughly 14,000 miles a year on it, I made my box about 8 years ago, and my Swarovski 8x56 have never come out of it. That is there permanent home.

If you’re not wanting a box on the front maybe get something like this? MUD Bighorn Quad Bike Fender Bag

I have a spot for mine in front box I have on quad, they live in there 24/7-365.

I used to have something very similar to this on my quad box. I had a fold of foam rubber in the bottom. To begin with I had a bit of carpet but that held the wet too much. Decent quality binos can stand a lot of abuse but I would be a bit concerned about vibration in the long term with them just under a bungee on the rack.

I have a bit of padding in the holder round sides and on the bottom, I also have the rubber lens proctors on the objective end,
I’d estimate they have covered around 96,000 mile in there over the last 8 years.

Sorted. I managed to find a Plano case that would suit perfectly, and made up a couple of brackets with M6 nutserts. Bit of contact adhesive and foam, and the job's about as good as I need 👍
