Looks like you have a gold nitrided jaeger tilting block. Nicely done as my standard block has managed to get some rust discoloration after many hours in the rain.

Trigger can be made heavier with a spring change out. If the recoil is bad you can get a 450gram kick stop installed.

So few in this country have a K95. Great choice. Brilliant!
I've had mine .. K95 Luxus, Octagonal barrel, for 17 years. It's never failed me. An absolute delight in every respect.

Mine is a beast, it’s in 7x65R with a trigger so light a bad thought sets it off and a truly horrendous recoil.
I could manage the trigger or the recoil on their own but I just can’t handle both.
Trigger isn’t user adjustable either.
It does look good tho’

I also use the 7x65r. Yes it does have some recoil with heavy loads, but try a 139gn bullet - i use one trundling along at 2650fps. Kills well and mild recoil. And like you I dislike really light triggers - should be sortable though.

If you get onto Egun.de you can find some nice pistol caps to put on by your local blaser gunsmith. I bought a Moose which I love. My BBF97 has a red deer stag.

Thanks I’ll have a poke around, currently I’m using 173 grain ammo and I think I have around 95% of the available stock in the country in the safe,it’s not easy to come by

So easy to use over the head protection and just slide it down when needed, if you remember!!
Or keep them on as ear warmers in the colder months

And NOISY when not wearing hearing protection. Fabulous rifles though.

Yes the 173gn loads are punchy -especially RWS stuff. They are great for Boar and big stags, but lighter bullets are fine for anything else.

Late to party but well done I have exactly same rifle and have to say it’s a dream. It shoots RWS 162gr KS bullets as yours does. Recoil is very easy for such a light rifle.
Looks like you have already fallen in love with it!!
