Blaser r93 quick release scope mount screws

Hi, I've gone and lost one grub screw for the rings holding the scope into the quick release block on my Blaser r93, and the setup is not holding zero (as one might expect!). Anyone know how I can get hold of the correct grub screw, or what the spec is for them so I can find something suitable?
Thanks

Post a picture of the mount and rings, the latest design with the slots which the rings sit in uses a M6 (off the top of my head) countersunk screw, while the older design uses a M5 screw.

Hi Beeches
which scope rings is it, I think the RHS ring is R93 the LHS is The newer version if you can check I’ve got a box full of bits and pieces for Blaser I might be able to find a spare screw to the fit either rings
cheers

Sorry I thought you meant the screw which connects the ring to the saddle mount.

The ring screw will be much smaller, perhaps M2.5 or M3?… I’ll have a look at one of mine.

Just measured a screw from a spare ring of the same design, the screw is 3.36mm diameter so close to an M3.5 however the pitch is 0.65mm rather than the standard 0.6mm.

I’ve checked an Optilock ring screw and they’re definitely a M3.5 at 0.6mm pitch, however it isn’t close enough to fit the Blaser ring.

I wasn’t aware of Blaser copying Rolls Royce and producing a proprietary thread pattern!

I’ll consult my Zeus book tomorrow…. I’d be surprised if they were using an imperial thread however you never know..

It could be a 4BA?!

Andy, you're a legend. Thanks for researching this.
One learns something new everyday. I can well believe it from the likes of Blaser if this is a prop item.

I had to get the proper Blaser screws for a mount, albeit the ones that fix the ring to the mount. Swillingtons came to the rescue, for £8 each o_O
