It's all on youtube - he closes in on (possibly wounded?) pig in very heavy cover, it upends him and whilst the pig is really, and I mean really, working him over his pal shoots it at point blank range. So as well as his awful injuries he is probably deaf too.

I think he would have been happy to trade some hearing loss from the shot rather than continue to wrestle the pig anymore, I don’t think the judges would have it as a split decision in terms of who was winning

Do you know if the middle photo was on the mortuary slab? Looks like it could have been fatal wound next to the fermoral artery? Hell of an injury.

Don’t often monitor oxygen saturation on a corpse. See left hand
