Allow me to start the polemic by by saying I had typed a few examples.
My computer crashed and I lost what I typed. No bad thing,,

Being a fan of Hemingway (seek the shortest sentence and shorten it again)
I realised that was a good thing.

I would be interested in the SD's thoughts on my question. I may state my observations later

Is there a word for someone who is totally taken in by the opposite sex, cannot keep his ***** in his trousers and is so stupid about women that he has a relationship with one who would marry a doormat if it got her what she wanted. Its certainly not Prime Minister, it may be Klutz ?

"a silly and clumsy person (= one who moves awkwardly and often has accidents)

It has recently occurred to me that any politician who isn't a fool or a charlatan when they start out, is almost immediately turned into one by contact with the civil service and public sector.
Whole swathes of our lives are beyond any form of even theoretical democratic control now.

Even a decent politician (imaginary) is incapable of getting any ministry to do even basic elements of their jobs properly, let alone implement a policy people voted for.

I'm a Cormac McCarthy fan. He writes sentences that fill a whole page so I'm keeping out of this, I haven't got the time.

They are ALL the same. They have there own agendas, there own backhanders, there own brown envelopes. None of them of whatever party or representation is honourable or true. It does make me laugh when they refer to each other as right honourable this or that because they are completely the opposite of honourable!!! They are for me in the same bracket as estate agents, solicitors and traffic wardens

I too am a fan of Hemingway. The BBC has a series about him. I am enjoying watching it.

I think Boris is not a gentleman, does not tell the truth and cannot be trusted. I don’t think Hemingway would have liked him either.
Thats why he is a politition.

It’s really very simple - put Robert Mugabe's voice onto everything the the right honorable Boris Johnson utters and it all starts making perfect sense.

Are there any better ones ??? Look at the last one ... bullingdon club of which Boris was also a member ! .. burning 50 pound notes in front of homeless people and sticking private anatomy parts in deceased pigs heads ? Are we actually surprised ?

And you’re only noticing this now??

It’s been entirely obvious for a decade or more. No one can credibly claim not to have realised well before Covid ever arrived.
Not sure where you got that from "only noticing now"
Maybe you are working off the Johnson playbook?
A quick ill considered reply/post .
Do you as an educator teach critical thinking ?
I see no evidence in your post.
Its polemics ( wont be in your playbook- find an old dictionary and look it up ) 😎

I really like the word “Cockwomble” - it is so apt.

No leadership coming out of No 10 whatsoever. This though is largely down to a woefully inept, non-existent, credible opposition. A 'one trick pony' (Brexit) I fear. Just when we need, as a Nation, strong leadership we appear sadly lacking, but who do I see on the sideline capable of delivering such skills ? Unfortunately no-one !

He was sh*t at everything he'd attempted previously, so why the Conservative party thought he'd suddenly make a good PM is beyond me.
An utter clown, more interested in Brand Bojo than us.
I'd disagree. He was by far the best London mayor to date. The competition was pretty poor admittedly. Also, he had had quite a successful private sector career, taking a massive pay cut to go into politics.
The alternatives were Hancock, May, Hunt - who created much of the current disaster, Corbyn and Starmer. Take your pick.

Agreed, he's the best of a bad bunch.
