Bos en Dal 2015 hunting season pictures

Morning Guys
We had a couple in camp last week, the hunting was hard as the weather was miserable and the animals shy.. still managed to bag some trophies and a few cull animals as well.

First at the range

First up was the husband with a wounded warthog that he put out of its misery

Then he managed to added this cull impala

At this stage the misses was way behind but she quickly caught up with these two impala within 2 minutes of each other

On the last day we managed to bagged this magnificent nyala bull. We spent 3 days tracking and searching for a shootable trophy.

Last week we had a client from the US, he had a good Blue wildebeest and a good black wildebeest on his list, with maybe a kudu if the opportunity presents it self.

We managed to get him this 28" Gold medal SCI for bow hunting blue

Unfortunately the black wildebeest never came within shooting range as we spend 2 days hunting them and so did the kudu. The client did have other opportunities at Zebra, Springbok, impala and Gemsbuck but he was focussing on the tree species mentioned above.

Hence it was a long 6 days with only one trophy to show but still he walked away happy.
Sometimes it is not all about the shooting?...

Oh yes. I almost forgot. We did some BIG game as well!!!

This is now officially the end of our hunting season!! We had a great year and thanks to the guys and girls that supported us this year. Looking forward in having you back next season and hopefully we can make friends with some more members on here!!

For any info regarding hunting with Bos en Dal please dont hesitate to contact me via pm or email. Although we are finished for the season the work already started to get next year on the go!

All the best
Gerrit

Where did you get the elephant, as havn't they band hunting it Botswana?
Hunt was done in SA, it is an 63500 acre open reserve which border on the Limpopo river. Elephants move through from botswana there is about 100 big foots on the property at any given time. We got him on day 7 of our trip.

Thats good then, Botswana will be over run with them in the coming years so you should get a lot of big foot sport.
