Brown/Grizzly bear

Hi

I’m a simple man with simple desires. Two things on the bucket list, one will be to one day have a Morgan parked in the garage, the other to hunt a brown/griz bear in the states.
On the latter I’m not 100% sure why. I have no interest in the African fare, but have desire to visit a remote area of the states to hunt for 2-3 days, and bring back a trophy (before they seek to ban such activity again 😜). I think it’s a combination of being in proper wilderness (unlike the UK countryside) and hunting something genuinely dangerous.
Anyway. I have no knowledge of this, and the costs involved. This could be something for th e next x years or in many years to come (when mortgage free) when money is hopefully more plentiful.
Any experience in this type of hunt, idea of costs, thoughts, and recommendations? Like I say I’m not after immediate recommendations but instead want to get an idea of what I need to tick this one off.
Thanks TF223

I hunted grizzly's a few times in BC in Canada and it is truly amazing, walking back in the twilight through the bush makes you hear every twig snap and noise as a big bear about to jump out on you.
Well worth the trouble if you can do it, luckily it didn't cost big bucks if you lived there.

Might also consider an inland grizzly hunt in Alaska which is less than a coastal, or at least was less! Hope you save your pennies and get this bucket list item done. it's on mine as well, but I'm a ways off.

I don’t have any links off the top of my head, but brown bear hunts in the far southeast of AK are quite affordable. I’m thinking I saw them for $5K or less.

These are coastal/rain forest bears so the hunts are either glassing shoreline or over bait. As I remember it, the parts of AK nearest BC are where the highest success rate is.
