I’ve had a set for about 5 years now. Very stable, quite sturdy and really good value for the price. The foam covers on the legs which are designed to eliminate any noise do get a bit ragged if caught on brambles etc… but you can buy replacement foam sets for not much money if needed, I’ve still got the originals on mine after 5 years.

A friend of mine had a pair, they were ok but not the quality of others. The thing that really bugged me about them was the bit of plastic on the end of the string. It kept rattling off the legs. Maybe it didn't spook deer, but it sure dis annoy me.

Took my string off on day one, not really needed and a real faff to be honest if left on.

Arrived today. Look Ok but what is the string for ???

I believe it’s to stand on the end and provide tension to give improved stability. I took mine straight off, never used it, never had any stability issues.
