Try the 75g Vmax, I also use 58g superformance on hill ground find them really good out to 300i’ve got a 243 with a day scope on so it’s not too much hassle to try it out
55 in 22-250 and 32 in 204 and on a rough experiment wind drift was less on the 204First question what bullet weight are you using in the 22250?
If you’re about right on bullet selection a 243 is going to be abit better but you’re probably better up skilling yourself.
Really useful - thank youTry the 75g Vmax, I also use 58g superformance on hill ground find them really good out to 300
Yes, but does the twist allow heavy high BC bullets?i’ve got a 243 with a day scope on so it’s not too much hassle to try it out
Those 58g superperformance are awsome rounds, but I do find them rather wind susceptible.Try the 75g Vmax, I also use 58g superformance on hill ground find them really good out to 300
That's why I said the 75g, just had a little look and they are doing them in superformance too. Those 58g superperformance are awsome rounds, but I do find them rather wind susceptible.

.243 95gn head same as I use for deer.I am looking for a calibre for shooting foxes with on windy hill ground. Most shots are 200 + yards. My 204 snd 22-250 are struggling. I’ve got to either learn to deal with it better or find something that handles it a bit better. Any ideas?
