He is doing exactly what a lot of other members are doing - relaying his differing experiences in the field - many of which are very interesting. Get a hold of yourself man - maybe you should re-read your post and reflect on the tone and content?
Yeah chris is a good friend of mine and an excellent craftsmanVery nice, Catapult Carnage?
What kind of distance would you be comfortable at if all the conditions were ideal? And while I'm at it what size steel shot do you use, is it 11mm?First off you don't know me so please don't assume that you do, im not a traveller I dont kill for fun i eat what I kill, if I can't get a head shot I dont take the shot.
Nothing inhumane about it in the right hands. I spent many a happy hour as a kid with a Black Widow hunting rabbits. A 6mm ball bearing to the head was pretty definitive about putting the lights out.Not sure what you are doing as a member of this site.
Hardly a responsible humane method of hunting.
The local travelling community use them to kill birds in our pens , leaving the bodies lying round.
I believe they have bets on how many heads they can bring back.
Sick scum.
10-15m is a comfortable distance for a clean humane kill and 8mm steel with the elastic and taper i use im getting 320 fps speed kills lolWhat kind of distance would you be comfortable at if all the conditions were ideal? And while I'm at it what size steel shot do you use, is it 11mm?
I've seen some of his YouTube videos, yeah fantastic craftsmanship and a cracking shot.Yeah chris is a good friend of mine and an excellent craftsman
I have no problem referring to people who leave 50+ dead birds in a pen with heads cut off, having knocked them out of the trees with a "catty", for bets as sick scum.He is doing exactly what a lot of other members are doing - relaying his differing experiences in the field - many of which are very interesting. I just got a new black widow, more for nostalgia than anything , I seem to recall hitting tin cans at 15 yards was easy in my youth , not sure what happened in the last 40 years but I can't hit f all now .Can't get any consistency at all .Not as easy as it looks.Any good youtube tuturials you can recommend, sounds like it's something that could be practiced with a few targets easy enough when working outdoors in the countryside.
Chris is a Squirrel sniper 🐿🐿I've seen some of his YouTube videos, yeah fantastic craftsmanship and a cracking shot.
Yeah I appreciate that but it would be a bit of sport to do for a few minutes a few times a day when I'm doing bits and bobs outside my own house. It'd be less hassle than the archery or plinking with the .22 but I'll still keep doing that to for the bit of craic. I find long breaks in between target practice is more productive than doing a full hour or so session.I just got a new black widow, more for nostalgia than anything , I seem to recall hitting tin cans at 15 yards was easy in my youth , not sure what happened in the last 40 years but I can't hit f all now .Can't get any consistency at all .Not as easy as it looks.

Each to his own but if the remark describes you than I stand by it. It was never intended to refer to the author of thread neither did it read so.
