Spartan Classic Rifle Adapter - suggestions...

Hi Everyone, I'm trying a Spartan Pro Hunt - mounting to a T3x Super Varmint stock using the classic rifle adapter. Despite it being REALLY tight with the rubber gasket in place, the damn adapter still turns and it's bugging me! Does anyone have this same issue and (more relevant) how has anyone else overcome this? Thanks!

JB weld. But once it’s set, you’ll struggle to move it - ever!

Fortunately I don’t have the issue with my T3X but I did have the inside with CZ455 HMR and .22Lr!

Ended up putting a gunsmith mount on

I've drilled a 5mm countersunk hole into the stock opposite the hole that's in the underside of the classic adapter, and filled both holes with good old JB to form a solid plug..... lets see how it holds up!

The Classic adaptor "should" come with a piece of very tacky double sided tape that is cut to fit the gasket which, when used between the gasket and the stock, overcomes this problem. If you don't have one to hand then a quick call to Spartan should have you sorted. Another thing is to mount the adaptor with the sling point facing the front. Belt and braces would be like I ended up, drill a 4mm hole through the middle of the Spartan logo and through the stock then use as short as possible 4mm through bolt to anchor everything together, I'm never selling the rifle so no tears shed but if I did then I would just get a replacement for end cover.

Hi there - I’ve got the same bipod. I had massive issues with the classic and couldn’t get it to work so got the gunsmith adaptor. It’s much stronger and keeps the stock flat so it works better with sticks. I wish I had just gone gunsmith early.

Have 3 gunsmith adaptors, two brass in wood and one alloy in Carbon.
I have other options but for a Spartan for me it is the only way to go.
Set one of them much further back for `Springbok sticks.
A game changer!
