Chambering issue.

I've had this problem with PPU in 308 and 223. Half the factory rounds wouldn't chamber. Had to pull them and use a FL die to regularise them so they'd chamber. I find no evidence for FL dies shortening case life but I do anneal after each firing. Up to 10 reloads on mine.

Did it take much? Was wondering if a die could be modified to just size the body of a loaded round.

I had a Tikka 243 that the bolt wouldn’t code on PPU factory ammo, all other brands good to go.
Think this has been discussed before.
Small base dies don’t enhance case life.
