Wanted: Cheap binoculars for newbie

Evening All,

I’m Looking for a cheap set of second hand , half decent ish cheap binos for a complete novice to the stalking world( not myself) they don’t have to be anything fancy, nothing with RF, just a half acceptable set to look through to spot and ID deer, not fussed on condition as long as the glass, eyecups and focus is okay, nothing ridiculous like oh swaros for £1500 etc.

Literally cheap as chips I have set of old minox I got gifted but one of the cups is knwckered so no good.

Anything considered and nothing too pricey.

Just something to help a new comer to the sport, would consider a cheap harness too .

Amazing for the price

I used to head up the company in europe and used these for two years instead of my Zeiss. The shocking thing is, there was not much in it!!!

If you don't take @Dave_45 up or don't want second hand, a set new from @Monarch Country Products will serve you well.

The diamondback ones are genuinely brilliant for the money. I bought a set for my old man and after looking through them, bought another set for me

I've got an old set of BAUSCH & LOMB 7x50 for £60. And some Zeiss 10x40,for £170.

If you go on E-Bay there are usually quite a few pairs for sale around the £5 to £10 mark.

I have a £10 E-Bay pair that I keep under the passenger seat in the car all the time, so I always have them. They are made by Optisan and they are very good. If they were to get damaged or stolen then its not the end of the world.

Thanks guys, yes I may get the minox serviced, I’ll contact them and see if I can get a whole eye cup replacement, swaro did this for free on my EL range as one of the rubbers was coming off and they sent me two for free, so can only ask.

Plus one for Barr and Stroud, I used their Sierra 10x 42 for years and they were superb, you can get them new for less than £100.

That's a good idea, I got spare lens covers free from Minox when mine fell apart.
