Chris packham launches new clothing range at cotswold outdoor

So we don't give him too much money let's buy just one top in Large take a picture with the 'first kill' post it up on his Facebook page then post the jumper on to another SD member so they can do the same and keep it going for as long as possible!

I wonder if "sponsored by the BBC" involves the use of licence payers funds or is it, because he is a 'claimed' autistic that he can do no wrong and the BBC are slowly overreaching themselves ?

This is receiving exactly the same responses on other shooting/fields sports forums too! I think they may turn out to be the most photographed coats in field sports history! I wonder what the quality is like? I bought some Bear Grylls trousers a few years back, thinking that if he was willing to put his name to them then they might be up to my day to day work... they weren't and one tiny tear when crossing a barb wire fence ran down half a leg. Completely unsuitable material for real life outdoor use (apart from maybe walks in a country park sort of thing). I remember being very disappointed in him that as Chief Scout too, that he'd put his name on something so clearly not up to the task.

hoodies available?

I presume he has hoodies and balaclavas in his range would also be interesting what sweatshop/country makes them

"I thought you lot liked the ****":???:

Chris Packham

I don't watch TV any more and have only followed what Packham is doing by reading this forum, but I do remember that during the Emperor of Exmoor controversy (or whatever the stag was called), Packham refused to join in with the Anti-Shooting brigade and kept saying that deer needed to be culled for the benefit of other flora and fauna.

There's a picture competition!
Win a fleece from my new clothing range , designed for days in nature . Upload a photo , a drawing or a poem of what a “day in the wild” means to you in the comments below . There will be a prize for the best photo , the best drawing and the best poem . Open to children and adults .

Dont spend a coin with the idiot, photoshop is the answer. The photo in the first post is dying for a broken shotgun under the arm and a larder of birds, ideally grouse, in the background.

The images will be copyright, I think you could possibly be done for publishing them or making them public. I would dearly like to be proven wrong on this though.

Best thing that could be done.....
All of us wear his clothing pictured with our first animals taken with it on.

Someone send me an XL jumper and I will do a range of pics with dead things Oz style. Shock horror it might make the BBC.

Noticed the Camo was at the top of the priced bracket, nowt changes there then even when an anti jumps on the band wagon

I asked Cotswold Outdoors..

I am interested in the Packham Lustra Pants in green. Do they come in tall sizes and is the fabric silent or rustle free as I am thinking of buying a pair for crawling in on the approach when deer stalking in Scotland.

They replied:

Thank you for contacting Cotswold Outdoor.

I would not recommend these trousers for the purpose you are enquiring for as they do not offer waterproof protection and do not have the properties in the material to make is 'rustle free'. I would therefore recommend the brand Fjallraven, I'll include some examples below:

Mens Vidda Pro Trousers
Mens Keb Trousers

I hope this helps.
Kind Regards

Richard imo both of those strides recommended would alert every ****ing deer if used in cover of any sort. Perhaps they know this and hope wearing them will stuff up future stalks :D

He is on Saturday kitchen this morning, I just voted, hell!
He hates rice pudding, who hates rice pudding?!
You have 20 mins to vote hell for this tool.
Cheers
Richard

Judging by the classifieds on here the average SD member is more like an XXL

I always thought the reason for that was that the clothing manufacturer has to pay a "royalty" to the copy right holder of the cammo pattern being used. Or have I fallen for it again?
HM.
