Definitely. Best served on Boxing Day. Slices of cold pud fried in butter then served with advocaat poured over it

Not a waste then as some of these kids won't get anything else. No little kid deserves to think that Santa forgets about them. Before the Grinch's start with "uhh your just paying the CEO wages" you can donate actual gifts , not cash. Not sure the CEO wants a monster truck or a Barbie!

Perfect . That's how I do it. Lots of cold custard. I eat the custard then usually leave the pudding in fairness , it's a ritual though isn't it? Having Christmas pud/ cake once a year even if you don't care for it .

My wife makes a superb Christmas pudding to a family recipe that goes back over a hundred years. I've never tasted anything quite as divine, and they just get better as they age. She generally makes five. Four go to friends, and one we keep back for ourselves to use the following Christmas.
