Following a further upgrade in my sea fishing outfits I now have for sale a COMPLETE Mackerel fishing outfit for sale, this outfit has everything you will need to get out to the coast and start catching your dinner!
The rod is a Shakespeare Mackerel Spinning Rod - 10 foot long, 2 piece (Complete with it's original rod bag) and rated to cast 2 to 4 ounces. (I have found that it performs well with a 2 ounce weight but loads and casts slightly better with a 3 ounce weight - I have tried it this evening at my local reservior to make sure that there were no twists in the line that I loaded the reel with and have been hitting well over 100 yards with just a basic overhead thump)
The reel is a HE7000 fixed spool reel (Brand New) which is fully loaded with NEW 20lb monofilament which I loaded just this afternoon.
Also included to make it a complete outfit I will include a couple of good quality swivels, a couple of 2 ounce weights, a couple of 3 ounce weights and 4 new and unused sets of mackerel Feathers/Sabiki rigs.
The rod is in very good condition but has one small scratch about 2 inches long on the butt section - It has to be stressed that this scratch is purely cosmetic and does not effect the integrity or performance of the rod in any way whatsoever.
All I am asking is just £25 for this full outfit which will include signed for and insured delivery.
When you buy this outfit all you need to do is find a stretch of coastline where the mackerel are showing and away you go to catch your dinner and fill your freezer.
