As this thread was about 'which subject do you KNOW will put a nettle up someone's/everyone's arse', I reckon the following light people's blue touchpaper....
- wood/blued vs synthetic/stainless
- prices charged for trophy animals
- prices charged for cull stalks
- prices charged for just about anything
- whether Landrovers are the best 4x4 ever, or the Devil's work
- American vs European scopes
- the merit of DSC1/DSC2
- which is the best shooting organisation to belong to
- Kelly Brooke or Angelina Jolie (sorry, concentration wandered for a second there....
)

Yeh just back from staking hols, I love the calibre ones but to be fair .308 is the king of calibres and if you use anything else for deer you're a nancy 
yeh come one then, you and your head shot sniper mates who don't need level one cause it's a money making fix. And if it makes you feel better put on you dmp smock before you get typing but make sure you mum makes you a cuppa before you start.
So I counted 18 sika this morning but only managed to get three hinds with the one shot, a cracking 300 yarder with a 50 grain v-max i was packing in a .308 sabbot that was a double neck and final body shot. I dialed in 9 clicks and took them off the bonnet, usually I only do head and neck shots to 250 but I've been pushing the envelope recently. The tactical set up makes it so easy and within the park and the furthest you have to walk is from the pickup to the quad.
